Fit and sizing guide
Every piece is printed just for you after you order it. If you still miss, we'll send the right size free and you keep the first one to give away (one free swap per customer). But it's better to get it right the first time, and that's what this page is for. It takes about two minutes, and if you'd rather not guess at all, email kaden@smilingispower.com before you order and we'll pick the size with you.
Fit matters more than it sounds. The arc only works as a reminder if it's the piece you reach for every day, so it's worth getting right.
The two-minute method
Don't guess from your usual size. Take a tee or hoodie you already own and like the fit of, lay it flat, and measure it:
- Length: from the highest point of the shoulder, next to the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.
- Shoulder: straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Width: straight across the chest, one inch below the armholes.
- Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
Then find the row below that matches. Measurements are taken on the blank garment and can vary by up to an inch, so if you land between two sizes, go up for a relaxed fit and down for a closer one.
The Arc Tee and The Quiet Tee
Heavyweight 100% cotton, 260 gsm (7.7 oz). A relaxed, slightly boxy cut with a dropped shoulder, which is why the shoulder measurement reads wide: the seam sits a little off the shoulder by design. Order your usual size for the intended fit, or one size down if you like a tee that sits closer to the body. These are unisex sizes. If you normally shop women's sizes, try one size down from your usual size for a regular fit, or your usual size for an oversized look.

The Arc Hoodie
Heavyweight 430 gsm fleece (12.7 oz), 56% cotton and 44% polyester, with a roomy hood, a front pouch pocket and ribbed cuffs. This hoodie is cut oversized with a dropped shoulder, so your usual size gives the relaxed fit most people want from a hoodie. If you prefer a hoodie that sits closer, order one size down. Measure a hoodie you own and compare, not a tee.

The Washed Hoodie
Vintage-washed 340 gsm fleece (10 oz), 88.5% cotton and 11.5% polyester, with a raw frayed hem. It's a shorter, boxier cut than the Arc Hoodie: in the same size it runs about 3.5 to 4 inches shorter, with a slightly narrower body. Order your usual size for the intended roomy, cropped look, or one size down for a closer fit. Because every piece is washed individually, measurements can vary by 1 to 3 cm from one hoodie to the next.

The Arc Crewneck
Heavyweight 350 gsm fleece (10.3 oz), 42% cotton, 53% polyester and 5% other fibers, with a ribbed crew neck, cuffs and hem. A relaxed, roomy cut with a dropped shoulder: order your usual size for the intended fit, or one size down for a closer one. In the same size it runs a little shorter and about 2 inches narrower than the Arc Hoodie. Measure a sweatshirt you own and compare, not a tee.

Care
Wash cool, inside out, with like colors. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Don't iron directly on the print. Heavy cotton can tighten up a little with heat, and heat is hard on any print, so cooler washes are the best way to keep both the fit and the arc looking right.
If it doesn't fit, we swap it
Email kaden@smilingispower.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the size you need. We'll print the right size and ship it to you free, and you keep the first one to give away. One free size swap per customer.
If it arrives wrong, we fix it
If anything arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong, email kaden@smilingispower.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace it or refund it at no cost to you. The full details are in our refund policy.
